Hello to our friends and family and welcome to “What Goes On In Vegas”. If you are here it’s because you’ve been invited to the Big Celebration in Vegas. This October Deb and I are celebrating our fifteenth wedding anniversary and we are both celebrating our 50th birthdays this fall. So we have decided to celebrate by getting as many of our friends as possible to join us in Vegas this coming Columbus Day weekend.

We have set up this blog so that everyone will have one place to come and check on updates, trade information, etc. This is a private blog. We didn’t want anyone to have privacy concerns so we set it up so that only those we invite can see it.

Now for the details: Deb and I are planning on flying out early Friday, October 9th and coming back that Monday, October 12th. (We will post our flight schedule as soon as we are booked, which will probably be at least a couple of months from now.)

Since it is our anniversary we are planning on staying at one of Vegas’ more romantic locations, the Venetian. This is not the cheapest place to stay in Vegas so our feelings won’t be hurt if you book at a different location. It would be nice if we could all stay in the same general vicinity. To that end, here is a link to a useful map of the Strip.

We are inviting a relatively large group and we don’t intend for everyone to stay together the whole time. But we would like for as many of you as possible to join us at Zeffirino’s in the Venetian mall to enjoy their marvelous Italian brunch on Sunday morning. (Details will follow.)

We would also like to get a group together to enjoy a show. Which show and when we go will depend on who comes and what you want to see. That’s the idea behind this blog, so we can trade ideas and information.

If you think you can make it please let us know by posting to this blog or you can just send Joe an e-mail at jesneed@bellsouth.net.

Take care and Think Vegas!
